1912 Nut and Olive Canapes

Slices of bread
Fat
Nuts 
Olives
Mayonnaise
Pimentoes

Cut bread in crescents. Fry in deep fat (toasted instead). Mix equal quantities of chopped nuts and olives, with enough mayonnaise dressing to spread. Spread on fried bread, and garnish with small diamonds of pimentoes.

Ended up with leftover nut and olive mixture and added some cooked chicken. Made a great chicken salad.
