Prune Soufflé.

One-fourth pound prunes.

4 eggs.

Four tablespoons powdered sugar.

1 teaspoon vanilla.

Cook prunes cut into small pieces, beat yolks of eggs and sugar very light, add vanilla and mix with the prunes. When ready to serve, fold in lightly beaten whites, put in pudding dish, bake gently 20 minutes. Serve with hard or foamy sauce.
